Father Josiah reveals Phase III design plans ahead of Annual Parish Meeting
In a New Year's Eve e-mail to parishioners, Archpriest Father Josiah Trenhem shared that the church's Annual Meeting on January 19, 2020 will include a special vote.
"At that meeting, besides approving our 2020 budget, electing new parish council members, and hearing a brief pastoral report we intend to present to you our Phase 3 plans for the construction of a new great hall and the renovation of the existing hall into an educational center. " Fr. Josiah wrote.
He added: "Our esteemed chairman, Mr. Christopher Kassaseya, has written a summary presentation (attached) together with an architectural sheet of the proposed building (attached).
Please study it carefully prior to our January meeting, and bring any questions to the meeting.
Also we have just launched www.SaintAndrewPhase3.net
We intend at this website to document progress, educate on our vision and solicit support over the course of the next 1-2 years as we build and complete Phase 3.
Once we have secured the parish's blessing and agreement at the annual meeting we will send our proposals to His Eminence, Metropolitan JOSEPH. Having obtained Sayidna's blessing we will begin to pray each Sunday at the conclusion of the Divine Liturgy and ask that God bless our Phase 3 plans to His glory, to the up-building of the parish, and to the salvation of our young people that we have fixed in our minds as we launch this Phase.
